My baby Lucky relaxing
I was never really a dog person until Lucky came into my life.
I was at work one day when my sister called me from her job at a vet office. She told me that someone had brought a dog in to be put down just because he had a broken femur walked on three legs and was homeless. Me being an animal lover, I couldn't let that happen! So before I knew it I was rushing to her job to kidnap a dog that literally had an hour to live! Of course the entire time thinking I can find this dog a good home.
I remember the first time I saw him, I was expecting to find a small little chihuahua about 2 lbs or so but he was much larger then I thought. He was so scared, skinny and traumatized, I was sure this was an abused broken little guy. Little did I know within a matter of hours would I fall in love with this guy and he would take up a huge part of my heart.
The first few nights were sleepless. I didn't want to scare him so I just let him lay in a corner of my room with food and water and lots of wee, wee pads, of course he didn't pee or poop on them. so I spent most my nights cleaning my rugs, I just didn't have the heart to put him in a cage or another room while he had just been through so much already.
Now its been years I've had Lucky and that little scared timid dog I had is now a spoiled healthy chubby happy dog who loves running on all fours!!
